Reps play a vital role in the education experience of students at university. They are the key link between students and staff to bring positive change to your educational experience. As a Rep, you can gain vital employability skills such as Leadership, communication, problem-solving and so much more! All of these can go onto your CV, where we can act as a reference for your Rep role, which will be a general reference only.

As an SU Experience Rep, you will be responsible for helping to build Learning Networks at Your Course Grouping level, by collecting student feedback and hosting events and activities that your students want to see! You will receive a payment of upto £50 a week.

ONLY students from the following Course Groupings are eligible to apply for an SU Experience role, in the FBL Faculty. These are:
As a School Rep, you will be responsible for representing all students within your School on matters relating to the learning experience. You will also receive a payment of upto £300 a semester.
As an Education Rep, you are responsible for representing a small group of courses, within Your Course Grouping, on matters relating to the learning experience. You will also receive a payment of upto £50 a semester.
As a Course Rep, you are responsible for representing students at a Course level. This role is great if you have time commitments, but still want to be involved. You can sign up to participate in micro-opportunities such as focus groups, CQEM and more. Earn digital badges for your CV with each opportunity! Please note this is an un-paid, voluntary role.

As a Research Rep, you would be responsible for presenting the views of your peers from your Research Centre. You will build key relationships with key doctoral college staff as well as other Research Reps.
