About the event

If you are currently volunteering or have volunteered before, then this is the perfect workshop for you!  Come along to find out about different leadership styles and how this can help you gain leadership volunteering roles.

Please note that you will need to have attended our other volunteering workshops or have experience in Volunteering in order to be able to attend this session.

It is free to attend and we will be covering many aspects of how you can utilise and develop your skills whilst volunteering.

Volunteering is a great activity in many ways as it can not only provide you with new experiences, but also a chance to make new friends, and get an insight into the local community. It is also a reliable pathway to getting workplace ready as can help you develop employability skills such as communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills plus much more!

If this sounds like the session for you please register for a free ticket using the above link

By participating in the event you will develop key volunteering skills such as teamwork, communication, organisation, problem solving and time management. To recognise these skills after completion you will be rewarded with an 'Optional Training' Badge. This can be displayed on your LinkedIn and showcased to future employers. To find out more about Badges head to our Badges page here

Any questions about the session please email volunteering.su@coventry.ac.uk

We recommend that you do not travel to campus or our event if you are feeling unwell!
