Please find paternity, maternity and adoption advice and guidance specific to your campus and level of study below.
Coventry University Coventry/ CU Coventry:
- The University Health and Wellbeing Team can offer advice on any issues you have faced or feel you may face regarding pregnancy or adoption.
- Make sure you are registered at either the University’s Medical Centre in the Hub or one closer to your home and more convenient.
- Read the Pregnancy, Maternity and Adoption Support to Students guide to find out what support is available to you.
- Coventry University (Coventry) has a Nursery which you can find out more information on and contact here.
- There are baby changing facilities around Coventry campus which we will list below:
- Engineering and Computing Building - near the standard toilets there is a baby changing table.
- The Hub –Accessible toilet on the ground floor across from The Courtyard
- Alan Berry – Ground floor accessible toilet
- Alison Gingell – Ground and second floor along the corridor near the west lift.
- Beatrice Shilling – Ground floor back right of the building, same position second floor.
- Frederick Lanchester – Ground floor accessible toilet (G.44).
Coventry University London (University House):
- Book a one-to-one meeting with the Student Support Manager to discuss your options and how we can support you
- Read the Pregnancy, Maternity and Adoption Support to Students guide to find out what support is available to you.
- Make sure that you are registered at a local GP.
- Baby changing facilities are located in the accessible toilets in the East stairwell on the ground floor and third floor.
CU Scarborough:
CU London (Dagenham and Greenwich):
Postgraduate Research Students:
The guidance for Postgraduate Research students differs from the guidance offered to undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students so please follow the specific guidance below.

- Is there an online option for your course that you might want to consider in order to offer you more flexibility in the future?
- Write down any questions about your leave and return to study plans to ask the University Welfare team to help design your plan to suit you.
