A student driven to create change around her and for others.
Madeleine Levy from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is set to raise awareness and get students involved with the Dementia Action Week 2019.
Herself and the disabled students community, in partnership with Alzheimer’s society, will be documenting “Alive Inside” at RC123 from 1-2pm this Thursday.
What is Dementia?
It is a term used for the decline in the mental ability that could severely interfere with daily life. For example: memory loss.
It is not a specific disease, but a group of symptoms associated with a decline in thinking skills or the memory severe enough to reduce a person’s ability to perform day-to-day activities.
