About the event

The Society In-Person Training is a chance to meet the Activities Team, meet other society committee members, gain additional training and have some fun before the semester starts. We will have refreshments and games. There will be lots of breaks throughout the event.

The event is open to all current committee members of a society. If you are interested in becoming a committee member, you are also welcome to attend. 

You will not need to bring much on the day. We would like you to bring your student ID so we can register your attendance and something to take notes on; paper or electronic is fine.

We will have lots of things going on throughout the afternoon. There will be a risk workshop at 1:30 pm; this may be mandatory for your role or society, so please come along if you can. There will also be a briefing around elections and other key bits of training, as well as time to ask the team any questions you may have.

Square One is located at the back of the ground floor of The Hub, past the cafe. There are gender neutral and disabled toilets on the ground floor. There is also a water refill point on the ground floor.
