About the event

Have you ever wondered why the University monitors student attendance, what happens to that information, and how it is used?

Join the Students’ Union for an informal discussion with the Academic Director for CU Scarborough. This is your opportunity to hear directly from the University about why attendance is monitored, how the information is used, and what it means for you as a student.

You’ll also have the chance to ask questions, share your views and raise any concerns about attendance monitoring in a relaxed, supportive environment facilitated by the SU.

Whether you attend every session or have questions about what happens when you can’t make a class, your perspective matters. This is a chance to get a clearer understanding of the process and help the University understand the student experience.

📅 Date: 23rd November 2026
🕐 Time: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
📍 Location: Boardroom (2.14)

🎖️ Earn a Digital Badge! Course Reps who attend the roundtable will earn a digital badge recognising their participation and contribution to improving the student experience. Your voice matters. Your ideas help shape the conversation. Together, we can make a difference to the student experience.
