Rupshana Ali

Occupational Therapy, 1st Year

I have created to show unity for all types of disability, visible to no visible. The logo shows people of different colours by giving this a sense of diversity through their disability and how they all link as one.

The logo is shaped as a flower to show beauty and growth is seeing how we should see people with forms of disability and how they should see themselves too.

I had the help from a close friend of mine who suffers from Friedreich ataxia as she feels that this symbol gives a level of acceptance in understanding that all disabilities are not the same.

Panel's comments

The panel loved the sentiments Rupshana brought to their design, particularly in the way they embraced diversity.
