Review your campaign training resources available. These will help you to set key campaign objects and define what your campaign’s purpose and aims are. You can start filling in your campaign handbook, building your campaign team and begin planning any actions you’ll need to complete to kickstart your campaign.
When you’re ready and have an idea of what you want to campaign for submit the campaign request online. This gets sent to the Community executive committee for their review on how your campaign aligns with the SU values and benefits students.
If your campaign is approved, you’ll be assigned a staff member to guide you in delivering your campaign. They may have key contacts you can meet and advice on carrying out your campaign handbook. They will schedule a regular meeting with you to check in and may help you navigate chairing campaign meetings and getting in touch with key stakeholders.
