Ultimate Frisbee

Welcome to the University of Coventry Ultimate Frisbee Club! Ultimate is a fast paced limited contact sport which is rapidly increasing in popularity. The vast majority of players start playing Ultimate at university so no prior knowledge of the game is needed. The rules are usually enforced by the players themselves so heavily relies on the spirit of the game. The spirit of the game is as refered to by the World Flying Disc Federation is “Spirit of the Game is the mindful behaviour practiced by players worldwide prior to, during and after a game. It encompasses attitudes and skills such as good knowledge and application of the rules, fair-mindedness, safe play, and spatial awareness, clear and calm communication, and positive and respectful attitude towards teammates, fans, and opponents, in a mutual effort to protect the basic joy of play.”
