About the event
It's that time of year again when we get together to celebrate the successes of our sports clubs.
Nominations
Nominations are open now. Make sure to submit yours before 8th March
Club Online Presence
Awarded to a club that has used online platforms (social media, website)and dedicated their time towards positively developing Sport Coventry's online presence and brand recognition through the promotion of their club's sporting activity and events.
Online Engagement Award
Awarded to a student or group of students who have used online platforms (videography, photography, social media, radio, livestreams, etc.) to promote sporting-related activity and events at Coventry University, and dedicated their time towards positively impacting students’ lives.
Sports Leader of the Year
Awarded to a coach, leader, individual, or group who has led, organised and contributed to their sports club, and helped improve the work of a club both on and off the field of play.
Sporting Impact of the Year
Awarded to a student or group of students who have led a campaign or fundraising initiative, or collaborated with a community group, for the benefit of a sports club and its members.
Team Athlete of the Year
This performance award will be given to an individual who has been key in their team, excelling in their sport on and off the field of play.
Most Improved Sports Club
Awarded to a club that has improved greatly this year. This may include performance, membership, and/or general increased/improved club activity to the satisfaction and enjoyment of its members.
Sports Team of the Year (League)
Leagues are points-based recurring events such as BUCS Leagues, Karting BUKC, and Gaelic Football League
Awarded to a team that has succeeded in their league throughout the season and displayed continuous commitment and dedication to developing as a team.
Sports Team of the Year (Competition)
Competitions are one-off or knockout style events such as BUCS Cup, BUCS Champs,
Awarded to a team that has succeeded in their competition throughout the year and displayed continuous commitment and dedication to developing as a team.
Individual Athlete of the Year
This performance award will be given to an individual who has excelled in their sport either on or off the field of play.
Sports Club of the Year
Awarded to a club that has had great participation in competition and recreational sport, promoted the 'belonging' aspect of their membership, introduced new members to the sport, and remains financially sound.

Tickets will go on sale from 12 March to 20 March. Check back later to get yours; spaces are limited, so act quickly once they go on sale!
The Night
The doors at Square One open at 6:30pm, but join us before that to enjoy a drink at the bar. The ceremony starts at 6:45 with a break in between for food and more drinks!
Dress code is smart, but wear whatever is comfortable.
