Event

This day is an opportunity for all current and incoming committee members to join and attend updated training and skill development sessions. Committees should send at least one representative from their society.

About the event

What is it?

This day is all about upskilling our committee members, facilitating onboarding and ensuring outgoing committee members get support when finishing their role. This is our first in person training day in several years, we do not have another one scheduled across summer.

What can you expect from the day:

For Both Groups:

  • Specific Events and Activity request updates including risk assessments.
  • Summer Planning
  • Lunch will be provided
  • Photoshoots

For Outgoing committee:

  • Careers and Experience: Putting your society leadership into a format employers look for
  • Roundtables including: AGM Guidance, Legacy planning and round two elections, Merch and Sponsorships (Income), Marketing, Events, and more
  • Uncollected hoodies will be available for collection

For Incoming or repeating committees:

  • Role Break outs
  • Conflict Management Training
  • Hoodie sizing and selection
  • Also able to join Roundtables
  • Meet the committees and the Activities Team

 

Who can attend?

Current and Incoming committee members of the Coventry Campuses (Including Mile Lane) are invited to attend.
Students will need to bring their Student ID card to tap into the event.

If you are not a commitee member you will not be able to attend the day.

 

Where is it?

This event is taking place in Square One, located on the Ground flor of the hub. There are gender neutral and disabled access toilets nearby.
