Community Engagement Lead
Vacant

We're recruiting for a Global Majority Community Engagement Lead for the 25-26 Academic year. The Community Engagement lead represents community voice across all CU Group locations, leads campaigns and initiatives that improve the Global Majority community's student experience, and leads on events and activities such as Black History Month.

Activities

Every year we celebrate Black History Month, acknowledging and celebrating the beauty and power of black culture. From fashion shows to panel talks we host a range of exciting events for everyone to get involved in. If you would like to be involved in planning or suggest an idea for Black History Month (October), please contact the Global Majority Students Community Engagement Lead or email community.su@coventry.ac.uk.

If you have an idea of an activity you’d like to run for the community, we can support you!

If you have an idea for a campaign you’d like to run, we can help you deliver your campaign!

Celebrate Black history Month

Every October we celebrate Black history Month and recognise the contributions made by Black people across history. The month is a specific opportunity to prioritise celebrating the campaigns, activism, events and significant contributions to improve the lives of Black people across history.
