Mountaineering

WE ARE COV UNI MOUNTINEERING! 

We are a great bunch who love to spend time in the great outdoors, whether that be hiking, scrambling, cheese and wine, or rock climbing. The Mountineering Society have regular meets at indoor rock climbing and bouldering centres in Coventry and Warwick - alongside plenty of socials!! 

We quite literally help new members 'learn the ropes' through our competancy scheme - the Mountain Goat Award. This award teaches you all the skills you need to stay safe in the mountains. Experianced mountineers are also welcome, we offer full use of club gear and equipment.

The club has regular weekend trips to the Peak District, Lake District and Snowdonia where we do a range of outdoor activities.
