Hi everyone! I’m Victory Ebere (she/her), your College Officer for the College of Engineering, Environment and Sciences. I am in my final year studying Pharmacology, and I’m really excited to be representing you all this year. I’m passionate about making sure every student feels valued, supported, and has the best possible experience both academically and socially during their time here.

Here are 3 key points from my manifesto that I will be working on:

  • Championing Inclusivity & Diversity
I believe every student should feel like they belong. This year, I’ll create opportunities to connect, share experiences, and celebrate the diversity within our college. I want to ensure all voices are heard in decision-making, especially those that often go unheard. A stronger, more inclusive community benefits everyone — it builds respect, understanding, and pride in who we are together.
  • Driving Career Development
University is about preparing for what comes next. I’ll work with careers teams, alumni, and industry partners to expand internships, placements, and networking events. I’ll bring in professionals to share their journeys and help students build confidence, skills, and connections for the future. My aim is for every graduate to leave here ready, informed, and excited about the next step.
  • Enhancing Academic Excellence
Our education should both challenge and support us. I’ll advocate for updated resources, better feedback systems, and strong academic support across the college. I want to remove barriers to learning and create an environment where curiosity and innovation thrive. Together, we can make sure every student has the chance to achieve their best.
