Hi everyone! I’m Raghav Sharma, your CU London Campus Officer and a 3rd year Law and Practice student. I’m really excited to take on this role and represent your voice on campus.

Here are 3 key points from my manifesto that I will be working on:

  • Food, Facilities, and Wellbeing on Campus:
Improving student experience starts with the basics. I will continue to work with the canteen team to ensure a greater variety of food, including vegetarian, vegan, and halal options, alongside healthier snacks. I’ll also campaign for additional microwaves and ensure facilities like our water fountains are properly maintained. Having functional and inclusive facilities makes daily student life smoother and more enjoyable.
  • Games, Activities, and Extracurricular Opportunities:
CU London already has a pool table that students enjoy, but I want to expand the range of games and activities available. One of my main goals is to introduce more recreational options such as table tennis, board games, esports events and outdoor activities. This will not only give us more choice in how we spend our breaks, but also create opportunities to meet new people, relax between studies, and build a greater sense of community on campus.
  • Events and Celebrating Our Community:
Building a social, vibrant campus is central to my aims. This includes organising more entertainment events, such as movie nights, karaoke evenings, cultural festivals, and trivia, as well as course-specific events like panels, fairs, and showcases. These events highlight the talent, diversity and achievements of our CU London community while giving students memorable experiences outside of the classroom.
