7:00 am – We kick things off with a smooth coach pick-up from Delia Derbyshire building in Coventry. No alarms snoozed five times, no train changes, no stress. No stress, no planning, just show up, hop on, and let our Trip Leaders do the organising. Cue playlists as we head towards the beautiful city of Bath. After a scenic ride, we arrive in Bath and the day is officially yours. You might start with the historic Roman Baths, take a look inside Bath Abbey, or just wander through the city’s streets and shops. A walk over Pulteney Bridge or up to Royal Crescent is worth it if you want to see some of Bath’s best-known spots. There’s plenty of choice for food too! Whether that’s a quick lunch, a café stop, or something a bit more substantial before the afternoon. 14:00 pm – We’ll regroup for a guided walking tour of the city. It’s a great way to get a bit more context behind what you’ve seen (and probably discover a few places you’d have otherwise missed). Expect a mix of history, architecture, and some lesser-known stories that bring the city to life. After the tour, you’ll have a bit more free time to revisit anywhere you liked, pick up something to take home, or just find a spot to relax. 16:50 – We’ll meet back at the coach and head home. A full day, a lot covered, and no need to worry about the journey back.
