About the event

This training session follows British Red Cross First Aid guidance and will cover essential, life-saving skills, including:

  • Understanding the role of a first aider and assessing an emergency situation safely
  • How to respond to someone who is unconscious or unresponsive
  • CPR and basic life support principles
  • Managing choking emergencies
  • Dealing with bleeding and shock
  • Basic first aid for minor injuries such as burns, cuts, and sprains
  • Knowing when and how to seek further medical help

This session is designed to be interactive, practical, and suitable for beginners, helping you build confidence to act effectively in an emergency.

Important reminders:

  • Please arrive on time so we can begin promptly.
  • Follow the room guidelines displayed near the entrance and leave the room in its original layout.
  • If the room is not in an acceptable condition upon arrival, please inform the coordinator and take a photo.
  • Kindly respect any rules regarding food, drink, and equipment use.
