About the society: the biomedical society is a place where anyone studying biomedical science/ biological science or related degree who are interested in biomedical science or medical related science can network and connect.
What do we do: -We aim to help people from different year groups of bioscience related degrees to interact and build connections. -We build a group of people with varying knowledge in science to invest further in each others understanding of the topics -Host events such as game and movie nights where students can relax and take a break from their studies -Spread awareness of different fields of research by inviting researchers and lecturers involved in research to hold seminars about their research -Spread awareness of any biology/biomedical/medical specific careers fairs happening that students can attend, to discover more about different types of jobs in those fields and have the opportunity to network -Inform students of any medical conferences that can be attended and organising some trips to some of these conferences
