Intro: About us
- Watch a short presentation to learn about our society and see if it’s a fit for you whilst enjoying some juice and biscuits.
This presentation will be approx. 10-15 mins and go over our society's values, exclusive opportunities and future activities.
‘Design it better’ activity
- Use your imagination and design skills to help each other improve poorly designed products, media or systems.
This activity will hopefully help break the ice between our future members and allow you to work collaboratively (or independently if you really wish) to theorise solutions to bad designs. We'll have some options chosen by the committee that you could work on. Alternatively, you could think of something that frustrates you personally that you'd like to design better. (If desired, taking a picture or bringing the item with you will allow for others to work on solving the same problem).
