The OIA runs Student Discussion Groups to better understand students' learning experiences. They are looking for students who are or were recently studying towards a degree or other higher education award to take part in the discussion groups.

Who are the OIA

The OIA is an independent body who reviews Student complaints about their higher education provider in England and Wales. The Service is Free and independent from the University.

Students whom they would like to get involved

They are particularly interested in speaking with students who have raised issues at their provider informally and to hear from them how that process of informal resolution worked.

They would also like to hear more generally about their experiences of higher education. We will not be discussing complaints that have gone or are going through any formal processes.

 What is a group discussion?

There are usually six to eight students in the group, along with two OIA facilitators, and the discussions last about an hour.
