Cup Week

This Wednesday 5 March, four of our sports teams, representing three different sports are all competing in the Quarter Finals round of the BUCS conference cups. Men's Football 1s, Men's and Women's Badminton 1s and Men's Volleyball 1s are all looking for success this week as they look to progress to the next round of the cup.

Separate from the weekly BUCS leagues, which see teams compete against other universities in the a set division, the BUCS cup tournaments see teams from across the Midlands from all divisions face off against each other across 5 rounds. With only one team coming out on top.

Badminton Men's 1 is looking for redemption this year after making it all the way to the final but missing out on victory. Men's Football has historically done well in the cup but hasn't come out on top recently, could this be the year for them?

Men's Volleyball unfortunately dropped out of Divison 1 last season, however they have had a solid run so far in Divison 2, currently sitting 6 points behind Derby, with a few more win they may be able to fight thier way back in to Division 1. They have also been playing strong in the cup and look ready to make it to the finals.

Three of the teams competing are playing at home and one not too far away in Warwick, check out the times and locations below and make sure to follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our YouTube channel to keep up to date on fixture details, coverage from games and livestreams.
