We have two paid positions available for current CU Scarborough students: Education Campus Rep, and Experience Campus Rep. Students in these posts will work closely with Your SU staff and the CU Scarborough Campus Officer to improve the student experience at CU Scarborough.
Each role will require a maximum of 20 hours of your time each six-week teaching block, or 40 hours per semester for School of Health and Care students. Campus Reps will be paid £11.44 per hour, plus £1.38 per hour holiday pay.

Education Campus Rep
The Education Campus Rep will work with SU staff, the Campus Officer, and Course Reps to improve the learning experience for CU Scarborough students. They’ll do this by listening to student feedback at Student Voice Meetings and taking action on issues raised. In addition, they’ll attend regular meetings with SU and University staff to push for change and ensure feedback relating to the educational experience is being addressed. Finally, they’ll support with the recruitment and mentoring of the Course Rep team at CU Scarborough, as well as SU events and activities.
This role will suit a student with a working knowledge of the SU’s Course Rep system who wants to get more involved with our work enhancing the quality of education at CU Scarborough.

Experience Campus Rep
The Experience Campus Rep will work with SU staff, the Campus Officer, and Course Reps to improve the student experience outside the classroom at CU Scarborough. They’ll do this by planning, promoting and delivering events and activities for students with support of Your SU. This will include activities relating to the SU’s five student Communities. In addition, they’ll attend regular meetings with SU and University staff to push for change and ensure feedback relating to the wider student experience is being addressed. Finally, they’ll support with SU-delivered events and activities.
This role will suit a student who has an understanding of the broad range of students at CU Scarborough, and who wants to get more involved with the SU’s work enhancing the wider student experience on campus.
