What is Society Spotlight?

Each month the Societies team chooses 1 to 2 societies to 'spotlight' on social media and the SU page. These are societies that the activities team have noticed putting in considerable effort and dedication to their society events and making sure members get the most out of their membership. This could be for outstanding communication and social media usage, re-ocurring events, or one-off social and events that draw in new and existing members. 

December society Spotlight - Marrow society:

The Marrow Society at Covenrty University main campus has been holding various events to raise awaress of the benefits of becoming a donor with the Anothony Nolan chairty. Over the last few months they have had several speakers and representatives from the chairty come to the hub to give more information to both students and staff about the chairty. 

The society welcomes anyone, whether you are a donor or not, to join them in raising awareness for an amazing charity, as well as making friends and connections across various university groups. They currently do not have any upcoming events on the websitre, however the society plan to continue with socials, collaborations and education stalls throughout semester 2!
