Rep Conference

About the event

This two-day rep conference is your opportunity to participate in:

• Take part in carefully crafted skills workshops and explore how you can transfer these skills to the world of employment.
• Hear from alumni about how their time as a Rep has benefited them in their post-graduation employment.
• Ask Officers how their work is improving your student experience.
• Talk to professional services such as timetabling, digital services, centre for academic writing and registry and share your thoughts on their services
• Get a professional headshot for your LinkedIn

Conference structure and Ticket Information

Day 1: Wednesday 6th November 10am to 8pm, this will include skills workshops and: 

• The day will start with Officer Accountability Panel - 10am to 12pm
• Towards the end of the day, we will host the Professional Services Roundtable Talks - 4pm to 5:45pm
• The day will conclude with Rep Social hosted by Your Education Officer, Promise Owai - 5:45pm to 8pm
• Your space is automatically reserved to participate in the above two activities as part of your Day 1 ticket

Day 2: Thursday 7th November 9:30am to 4:30pm, further skill and role development workshops will be delivered and:

• Alumni Rep Q&A

We will provide lunch on both days. You can join and leave the conference based around your schedule. Join us for two days filled with workshops, networking events, free goodies and lots of snacks!
