I visited CU London Dagenham for the Block 2 welcome fair. I had the privilege of talking to both returning students and freshers about YourSU and also encouraged them to engage with all activities organised by the SU.

ENHANCING AND PROMOTING ACADEMIC SUPPORT SERVICES

I have successfully organised the first Academic support service kick-off event tagged; ‘NOW YOU ARE ENROLLED… WHAT NEXT?’ recording attendance of over 58 attendees. This event was in collaboration with different University and yourSU support services (Success Coaches, IT/Digital services, CAW, YourSU Skills/Phoenix +, CURA, YourSU advice service).

This is to make sure that students can effectively utilise available academic support services to overcome academic challenges, improve their skills, and achieve their full potential.
