Hello everyone! My name is Haswanth Borra, and I am honored to serve as the President of Telugu Society.

My goal as President is to create a thriving and inclusive community within Society, where every member has the opportunity to grow, connect, and contribute meaningfully.. As President, my goal is to make Society a thriving, inclusive community where each member has the opportunity to grow, connect, and contribute meaningfully.

I am currently a Masters student majoring in Business Analytics, with a passion for cultural exchange, Event management, Travel,environmental sustainability. Throughout my time in various student organizations, I have learned the importance of building supportive communities and fostering meaningful connections. My goal is to unite people and create opportunities for personal and professional growth within our society.

My Vision for Telugu Society

As President, I am dedicated to leading Society with a focus on:

• Expanding Opportunities: I aim to introduce new events, workshops, and networking opportunities that cater to our members' diverse interests and career goals. From skill-building workshops to interactive sessions with industry professionals, I want to ensure our society offers something valuable for everyone.

• Creating a Welcoming Space: I believe that every member of [Society Name] should feel valued, heard, and supported. I’m committed to creating a culture of openness and inclusivity, where everyone can share ideas and participate fully.

• Building Lasting Connections: Beyond our events and initiatives, I want to help foster friendships and professional relationships that last well beyond university. Our society is more than just a club; it’s a network of individuals who can support each other during and after university life.

What I Bring to the Role

With my previous experience in university student body volunteer, I have developed skills in organization, communication, and event planning, all of which I bring to my role as President. I am dedicated to leading with transparency, open communication, and a strong commitment to our shared goals.

I am incredibly excited to work with all of you! Whether you’re a new member or have been with us for a while, I encourage you to get involved, share your ideas, and help make Society an even better community.

• A proud Telugu native deeply rooted in our rich culture and heritage. I am pursuing my Master's program in Business Analytics, building on a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering. My academic journey has been complemented by professional experience as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, Apple, and Humana, where I handled projects involving Workday and Azure DevOps technologies, focusing on seamless integrations and client requirements.Throughout my academic life, I was deeply involved in student activities and cultural events. I served as the Technical Head for the Student Activity Centre, where I led a team to organize events like , creating inclusive, vibrant campus experiences. As a volunteer with the National Service Scheme (NSS), I actively participated in community events, promoting a spirit of service and togetherness. I am a Coventry City host collaborating with ENV volunteers.My passion for promoting Telugu culture and heritage is a driving force in my life. As the Telugu Society Inclusion Officer, I am committed to bringing the richness of our traditions to the forefront. Whether it's organizing cultural festivals, facilitating discussions, or creating engaging spaces for Telugu students, my goal is to make our society a home for all.
