We compete nationally in BUKC as well as host our own events for members such as CUKC and socials
BUKC aka British Universities Karting Championship is a national series for universities to compete, racing in Club 100's 2-Stroke karts at some of the top tracks in the country such as Whilton Mill, PFi and Buckmore Park. We are the biggest uni currently competing with 6 teams last year with our A team 3rd overall and our D team Runners up in the inters class. We also have 5 championships making us the 3rd most succesful university in history with 4 overall titles (2014, 16, 19 & 20) and 1 Inters title (2022). If you are an experienced racer and would like to get involved contact the committe.
We also run our own club championship known as CUKC. We visit several local tracks (such as Sutton, Daytona Tamworth and Whilton Mill) that offer relatively low costs and good values. Drivers of all abilities can compete from complete rookies to our top drivers, but we have a class system so you can win prizes competing against those at a simiiar level to you. This is the perfect way for new memvers to get introduced to karting while experiencing racing. Look out on our social media accounts for when the events get announced. We are currently planning 5 events with the best 4 results counting towards the championship but you can enter as many or few as you wish!
There are also socials with the occasional visit to Teamsport and other one-off karting trips, we also hold F1 watchalong events where you can watch the F1 races with friends. If you like motorsport then this is the club where you'll find likeminded individuals and gives you a chance of being a racing driver.
