Coventry University Tennis Club

The Coventry University Tennis Club (CUTC) brings people of all abilities together within the sport and outside it. Our Wednesday Socials at Ivy House, are a fantastic way to meet new people, bringing top players at the club and complete beginners together for a great time.

Our club has a great balance between competition and enjoyment, with training for all every week and BUCS matches played every Wednesday against other universities.

Our BUCS players compete once a week against other universities. We have two men's teams that compete (1st and 2nd) and one women's team. We also have opportunities for players to play in friendly matches against regional universities. 

BUCS players also train weekly at the Sidney Stringer Academy. Sidney Stringer Academy, 2 Primrose Hill St, Coventry CV1 5LY. The entrance to get to the courts is on Cox Street.  

In contrast, our recreational sessions have a mixture of technical teaching points, games and match play that sees large participation for people that want to try tennis out and that just enjoy the game, rather than compete.

If you are someone that either want to compete, play for leisure or just take part in the social side of things then we invite you all to join our club and be part of our growing tennis family.
