Social Prescribing Team
The Social Prescribing Team connects you to your local services to improve your physical and mental wellbeing.
They offer support, guidance and encouragement to take care of your health.
Eligibility criteria – must be over 18 years old and live in Coventry.

Free toiletries and clothing
Foleshill Community Centre offer free donations of toiletries for people in the community, and their families. A
clothing rail is provided with free clothing, donated by Clothing Coventry. Drop in at 454 Foleshill road,
Coventry or contact on 02476977991.
Spon End discounted food
The Rose Food Hub offers heavily discounted food, typically about £20 worth of food for a cost of £5.
Thursdays 10am – 12. It is for residents living in the Spon End area of Coventry and the surrounding area.

The Aspire family hub in Coventry offers services and activities for children and young people. For more

Emergency food parcels for international students and families
Emergency 10-day food parcels provided. Referrals preferred – Your Students Union Advice caseworker can
refer you via langaraid@khalsaaid.org, they will need the
student’s name address and telephone number and they will contact the student directly.
Food can be collected every day between 6pm – 6:30pm only.

This Grub Hub offers cheaper food, worth £20 for the price of £5 ‘membership’ for that
week. You will get a large bag of shopping which includes pasta, bread, meat, dairy products etc. You also get a
shopping bag to reuse and help the environment.
