About the event

The event will introduce students to key academic resources and support services available at the University. Your Education Officer Promise is helping to explore how, when and where to access and utilise the services. It will also feature some practical demonstration on basic IT/Digital Services, hence attendees are advised to come with their laptops.

This event is in two sessions to provide essential guidance for a successful semester.,

Academic Kickoff: Academic Support and Tips: 12-2:15pm  

Academic Kickoff: Journey and Skills: 2-4pm

You can book both tickets free, or any session of your interest.

Support Service teams invited to have a session with you at the event includes:

  • Student Success Coaches
  • Centre for Academic Writing (CAW)
  • IT/Digital Services
  • YourSU Skills/Phoenix+
  • Academic Integrity (with Your SU Advice Service)
  • CURA/Academic Journey 

The event shall also feature some live music performances by students and free refreshments for attendees.
