What are the Society Elections?
Society elections are to determine the next society committee for the academic year 2025-2026.
Leading a society can help you gain core transferrable skills and make you more employable. You'll also be able to host and participate in different activities and enhance student experience. This is a great way to make new friends, and you are responsible for your time commitment and can determine what time you'd like to dedicate the society.
If you'll be a current student until at least January 2026 then you're eligible to nominate for a committee position.

Election Drop in's
To help you understand more about the elections and how to get involved you can drop in to speak to one of our staff team members any weekday this week.
Whether you're a member, not a member, committee member or just curious, Our staff are here to help answer any questions, provide advice and guidance on building a nomination also.
Committee members are welcome to drop in to ask abouut their society elections also.
You don't have to stay for the full hour, Drop in for a few minutes to get the information you need.
How can you get to the Activities Office (Hub, 1.24)?
Found on the 1st floor of the Hub, You can use the entries from Starley Gardens or the George Elliot direction to get into the venue, Use the stairs or lift to the first floor of the Hub.
At the top of the stairs is the SU welcome desk, The Actvities office can be found in the corridor behind the welcome desk.
