🗓️ Tournament Schedule

Dates: 30 June – 4 July 2025
Match Duration: 10 minutes per match
Total Players: 32
Total Matches: 31
Entry Fee: £6


🧾 Daily Match Breakdown

Round 1 (32 players – 16 matches):

  • Monday (1–2 PM): 5 matches

  • Tuesday (1–2 PM): 5 matches

  • Wednesday (12:30–2:40 PM): 6 matches

Round 2 (16 players – 8 matches):

  • Wednesday (12:30–2:40 PM): 7 matches

  • Thursday (1–2 PM): 1 match

Round 3 (8 players – 4 matches):

  • Thursday (1–2 PM): 4 matches

Final Round (4 players – 3 matches):

  • Friday (1–2 PM):

    • 2 Semifinal matches

    • 1 match for 3rd place


⏱️ Total Time Per Day

  • Monday: 50 minutes

  • Tuesday: 50 minutes

  • Wednesday: 2 hours 10 minutes

  • Thursday: 50 minutes

  • Friday: 50 minutes


📜 Rules & Regulations

  1. Match Duration

    • Matches last exactly 10 minutes. No extensions.

    • Matches end when the timer stops, regardless of the state of play.

  2. Determining the Winner

    • Player with more points at 10 minutes wins.

    • Tie-breakers:

      • Player who pocketed more balls first.

      • If still tied, sudden death shootout.

  3. Sudden Death (Tie Break)

    • Players take alternate shots at a nominated ball.

    • First to legally pocket wins.

  4. Fouls

    • Standard fouls apply (cue ball scratch, wrong ball hit, etc.).

    • Fouls give the opponent ball in hand.

    • Repeated fouls may lead to disqualification.

  5. Break & Turns

    • Breaker decided by coin toss/draw.

    • Players alternate turns until the match ends.

  6. Match Start & Timing

    • Matches start exactly on schedule.

    • Players more than 5 minutes late forfeit.

    • Timer will not pause for any reason.

  7. Conduct

    • Unsportsmanlike behaviour may lead to disqualification.

    • All decisions by the tournament manager are final.

  8. Equipment

    • Use the provided cues and balls.

    • Personal equipment needs prior approval.

  9. Referee

    • Referee’s decisions are final.

    • No appeals allowed once a decision is made.
