🖌 What Do We Offer? 

We host weekly sessions and provide all materials, but you are more than welcome to bring your own materials if you wish. We aim to do more this year and make every session different. We have occasional guest speakers and exciting collaborations with other societies on campus.
Our sessions aim to provide a space to chill and express your creativity. We will run events for members and non-members, and depending on the activity, there could be a small fee or ticket required. 

🖌 Membership Benefits: 

An opportunity to socialise with a community of artistic and creative individuals. We know how stressful University life can be, so we aim to create a space to express your creativity and take time away from our laptops and books. Memberships allow you to attend as many sessions as you like and try various art-based activities with no added cost.

For sessions requiring tickets, members will benefit from having free or discounted ticket sales. We explore a range of different art techniques, ranging from painting to clay sculpting to sketching and decorating. A few examples of previous sessions include creating a resin ball, collage and decollage and creating a personalised glass jar.
The Art Society is open to everyone and no skills are required to join.

🖌 Purchasing a Membership: 

Art Society membership is £4 for the whole academic year! To purchase a membership, go to our mini page on the Student Union website.
You also need to purchase a £3 Sports and Societies subscription fee. If you have already purchased this from joining another society/sport, you won’t need to purchase this again.
This is also valid until the end of the academic year in July!

🖌 What will the sessions be like?

We will have different art-based activities every week. Information for each session will be posted before the day of the session. We also have seasonal art-based activities such as Halloween and Christmas. The Art Society is open to everyone and you are free to attend as many sessions as you wish.
