CUGE is inviting you to come to our Zine Festival. The theme of this event corresponds with the motto of Coventry University- 'Still I Rise'! Through this event we want to celebrate womenhood, diverse identites and intersectional feminism. Purchase some cool artwork and support IKWRO in their efforts to help Middle Eastern, North African and Afgan women and girls living in the UK. Their mission is to support people who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.

Featuring work from a range of societies and students, they'll be plenty of art on offer to browse and buy! CUGE's own zine  will be available to purchase. All money will be going towards IKWRO, a women's rights organisation that works and campaigns against honour based abuse, you can find out more about their work at https://ikwro.org.uk. 

We are also excited to announce that this event is sponsored by The Ink Well Coventry. If you are not familiar with them already, the Ink Well provides high- quality creative supplies, stationary, giftware as well as a wide range of printing services. They are located just outide of the Hub. Make sure to pay them a visit and get that diss printed!

The event will take place on the 29th of March 2023 in the Hub from 12-5pm. We'll be accepting cash and card, but cash is largely preffered!
